Winick Realty to Lease Two Prime Properties in Long Island City


A resident of Scarsdale, NY, Hal Shapiro is the holder of a BBA in business management from the University of Miami. A retail real estate broker, Scarsdale’s Hal Shapiro serves as the senior director at Winick Realty Group in New York, NY. 

On February 12, 2018, Winick Realty Group announced it had been selected to represent GreenOak and Related Companies in the leasing of two retail properties in the Blanchard and Paragon buildings in Long Island City. The two properties set for leasing are located on the ground floor of each building. 

The Blanchard property has 3,725 square feet of retail space and 50 feet of frontage. The Paragon property has 11,713 square feet of retail space and 300 feet of frontage on three sides. 

According to Winick Realty Group, the two properties offer retail tenants an advantageous accessibility to visitors from Manhattan and Brooklyn because of their proximity to Long Island Rail Road and seven subway stations. The properties are also close to the 59th Street Bridge and Pulaski Bridge.
