Nadal Becomes First Tennis Player to Win Same Grand Slam 10 Times

Scarsdale, NY, resident Hal Shapiro earned a bachelor's in business management from the University of Miami in 1994 and has spent the past 16 years as a managing director for Winick Realty Group. Before attending university, Hal Shapiro of Scarsdale, NY, graduated from New Rochelle High School, where he was a member of the varsity tennis team. On the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour, no player has ever had more success at one of the four Grand Slams than Spain's Rafael Nadal. Throughout his 16-year career, the 31 year old has won 15 Grand Slam tournaments, 10 of which have been at Roland Garros, where the French Open is played.
